Hello, I am Summer. My mom & I opened Ya Ya Gurlz April 1, 2008, shortly after I graduated from Hardin Simmons University. I am not your typical gurly gurl, and you might not expect I would own a boutique. Turns out, one of my favorite things to do is see a customer smile when I have helped them pick out that perfect fit! There is something about a woman that feels good about herself. It shows from the inside to the outside. You never know if you have caught me restocking, cleaning, packing for the next show, or having an adult beverage because its been a long week! Being a single mom, I juggle lots of puzzle pieces during the week, but, I am happiest when I'm busy. We have a rural background, watching entrepreneur relatives & knew this is what we wanted. Our style, well, it's about as eclectic as our life. From a rocker vibe to comfy, cute everyday wear, to vintage western, throw in a little 70s era and you are at Ya Ya Gurlz.
