Customer Service Representative

We are looking for a friendly, dependable, and professional Client Service Representative (CSR) to join our small animal veterinary practice. This position is an important part of our client experience and will primarily focus on answering phones, assisting clients, and keeping communication flowing smoothly throughout the clinic.

About the Position

The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys helping people, communicates clearly, stays calm in a busy environment, and can confidently manage multiple phone calls and client needs throughout the day.

Responsibilities

  • Answer incoming phone calls in a friendly, professional manner
  • Schedule and coordinate veterinary appointments
  • Assist clients with questions and direct calls to the appropriate team member
  • Take messages and complete client callbacks
  • Process prescription and medication refill requests
  • Check clients in and assist with front-desk needs as needed
  • Collect payments and accurately process transactions
  • Maintain accurate client and patient information
  • Communicate effectively with veterinary doctors, technicians, assistants, and other team members
  • Provide compassionate and professional customer service, especially when clients are worried about their pets
  • Help maintain an organized, welcoming, and efficient reception area
  • Follow clinic policies and established scheduling and communication procedures
