Have you ever thought about being a mentor?
Mentors Care is a new program coming to the Wylie High School campus this year and they need your help! This program places students who might be at risk of not graduating high school with a mentor from the community who can help guide them toward graduation as well as a meaningful future after graduation. These mentors meet with the student on campus for one hour a week for 26 weeks of the school year. The key to the success of this program is the support of the Abilene community serving these kids that attend Wylie High School. If you are interested in the possibility of being a mentor in this program, we invite you to come to the Mentors Care General Interest Meeting to learn more about becoming a mentor. If you are unable to attend the meeting or would like more information, contact Mark Blakely at mark.blakely@mentors.care.
