Business Edge is an opportunity for business professionals at all levels to discuss topics in a small group with other professionals. Abilene Industrial Foundation in conjunction with Develop Abilene are hosting a monthly online roundtable. It will be held during lunch (12 pm – 1 pm) with a business providing an overview of a topic and the rest of the participants providing input through idea generation and sharing. This is designed for the business professional who is solution-focused and is energized by small group dialogue.

Most companies in the last year were thrust into the decision to have more flexibility when it came to remote vs office work. In this month’s Business Edge, we’ll explore the infrastructure needs businesses need to be successful with our partners from Datroo Technologies.

ABOUT OUR SPEAKER: 


Robert Benavides is the Director of Technology at Datroo Technologies, an I.T. consulting/managed I.T. service provider based in Abilene Texas. With over 17 years of experience, he helps businesses solve their technology-based challenges by bringing enterprise level expertise to organizations large and small in West Texas. When he is not sharing his love of technology, he enjoys riding around Texas on his Harley Davidson and attempting to make pieces of cut wood stick together. Loves serving the Abilene community with his wife Staci Benavides (President of Lone Star HR) and enjoys the new newly minted title of Dad.
