ABOUT OUR SPEAKERS:
Rob Gass manages Strategic Development and Investment for Boeing’s bombers. As some of you may remember, he’s a long time B-1 pilot with a special connection to Abilene. Rob spent 12 of his 29 years in the Air Force with us at Dyess AFB. He flew 50 B-1 combat missions over Iraq and Afghanistan as a squadron and group commander. He left Dyess as the 7th Bomb Wing Commander. Rob retired as the Vice Commander of 8 AF.
Dan Ruder is the B-1 Advanced Programs Manager for Boeing. He’s an engineer with over 35 years of experience on the B-1. He worked the initial production run at Palmdale and led key modernization programs that kept the B-1 a cutting edge warplane from the Cold War to its global power projection mission today. No one knows the future of the B-1 as does Dan.
