Technical Field Advisory Startup Coordinator

The Technical Field Advisory and Startup Service Coordinator works with the TFA/S Service Manager to provide TFA/S services to customers during installation, commissioning, startup, and warranty periods after boiler equipment is shipped from the factory.  Responsibilities and tasks include:
 

  • Prepare quotes to customers for TFA/S service
  • Place purchase orders and schedule technicians from equipment vendors and service providers for TFA / Startup services at customer sites
  • Expedite, compile and track TFA/S technician reports and timesheets
  • Track and manage TFA/S service sales orders for scope, limits, and special billing rates & rules
  • Compile and submit invoices to customers for TFA/S service and pursue timely payment
  • Field calls / requests for support from customers
  • Refer customers to a specific contact with Sales department for equipment replacement or repair as necessary
  • Process and track warranty orders approved by Project Management and/or TFA/S Service Manager
  • Compile recommended spare parts lists for customers and provide replacement parts quotes where necessary to support TFA/S or Sales departments
  • Track and manage parts orders through purchasing, planning, production, and shipment when necessary, often on a RUSH basis
