The QA/QC Inspector I is dedicated to general inspection processes and basic administrative functions. Primary duties and Responsibilities include performing inspections on products during and at completion of assembly processes, review of Material Test Reports, verifying completed welding meets criteria, and review of industrial coating activities. The position reports directly to the QA/QC Manager on all assigned matters.
Prerequisite Training and Skills:
• Fundamental understanding of industrial codes and standards.
• Working knowledge of NDE processes.
• Ability to prepare discernable records.
• Ability to use documents with moderate complexity.
• Familiarity with general welding and manufacturing processes.
• Computer proficiency with Microsoft Word/Excel/Exchange, and Adobe Acrobat.
• Moderate to heavy physical activity; working on elevated surfaces, walking, climbing steps and ladders, entry into confined spaces, consistent exposure to loud environments.
