RESIDENT PROJECT REPRESENTATIVE – RPR
JACOB | MARTIN is seeking a Resident Project Representative RPR to join our team in Abilene and/or Weatherford. The RPR will be observing the progress and quality of project construction to ensure procedures and materials comply with project plans and specifications.
Required Qualifications:
- Strong organizational skills
- Self-motivated and detail-oriented
- Ability to manage several projects at one time
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to interact/communicate well with management
- Experience in record-keeping for construction projects
- Experience reviewing wage rates and operations manuals
- Experience conducting construction inspections and reporting findings
Role and Responsibilities:
- Maintains daily diaries and reports information using Fieldwire
- Conducts construction inspections to ensure quality standards are met on all projects
- Prepares and submits clear documentation and photo evidence of findings in Fieldwire
- Communicates with project manager, engineering technicians, owner, contractor’s representatives and others regarding the construction site, project requirements, testing, observation, inspection requirements and results
Physical Demands:
The work requires some physical exertion such as long periods of standing; walking over rough, uneven, or rocky surfaces; bending, crouching, stooping, stretching, reaching, or similar activities; and lifting of moderately heavy items. The work may require specific, but common, physical characteristics and abilities such as above-average agility and dexterity.
Work Environment:
This role requires you to work both indoor and outdoor and is to work in all types of weather conditions. The work involves moderate risks or discomforts that require special safety precautions, e.g., working around moving parts, carts or machines, or irritant chemicals. Works hours outside of normal business hours as required for specific projects including weekends and occasional nighttime work.
