DESCRIPTION:McMurry University's Center for Free Enterprise and Entrepreneurship will once again be hosting a luncheon to celebrate Women's Entrepreneurship Week on Tuesday\, October 22nd. Joining us this year to share their journey and discus what it takes to succeed as a small business entrepreneur\, are four prominent local business owners: Karen and Christian Light\, Alex Terrell Russell\, and Michele Kilborn.\n\n			 \n\n			Karen and Christian have recently opened Texas Roots Salon in Abilene on South 20th and have great plans for that location. Karen is also very active in real estate development in Abilene. Alex Terrell Russell is the co-founder of Oddly Natural and JAR Land and Investments. Alex was voted by the Abilene Reporter-News as one of the 20 people to watch under the age of 40. Michele Kilbourn owns and operates Cakes by Birdie\, providing unique desserts and custom cakes for the Abilene area.\n\n			 \n\n			Lunch will be provided at a cost of $15 per person\, or $80 for a table of eight.
